07:59 AM EDT, 09/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Gogo ( GOGO ) said Wednesday it has completed the first installation of its Galileo HDX system on a Bombardier Challenger 300 in partnership with Duncan Aviation.

The installation on the aircraft involved adding a fuselage-mounted antenna, connecting power from the aircraft to the antenna, and running a data line back to the pre-installed AVANCE L5 line replaceable unit.

Gogo ( GOGO ) started the testing of the system with eight devices connected and streaming simultaneously, Duncan Aviation Houston Satellite Manager Mark Winter said as quoted in the statement.

Gogo ( GOGO ) is now moving into further testing stages, including electromagnetic interference (EMI) testing, vibration testing, and an extensive flight-testing campaign to ensure the system's performance and reliability.

Gogo Galileo HDX is expected to officially launch in Q4.
