Gogo Gains Federal Aviation Administration Supplemental Type Certification for C1 Connectivity Unit

09:59 AM EDT, 06/24/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Gogo ( GOGO ) said Tuesday its C1 line replaceable unit received the Supplemental Type Certification from the US Federal Aviation Administration for use on 42 aircraft models.

The company said the approval allows aircraft currently using legacy air-to-ground systems to switch to the C1 unit, which will enable continued service once Gogo ( GOGO ) launches its new LTE network in May 2026.

The certified aircraft cover about 70% of Gogo's ( GOGO ) North American ATG customer base, according to Gogo ( GOGO ).

Shares of the company were up nearly 2% in recent Tuesday trading.
