08:15 AM EDT, 07/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- GoGold Resources ( GLGDF ) reported on Thursday a second quarter year-on-year increase in silver equivalent production from the Parral tailings mine in Mexico.
The company produced 400,236 ounces of silver equivalent, rising from 375,112 ounces.
Gold production climbed to 2,436 ounces from 1,512 ounces and copper production was up to 148 tonnes from 135 tonnes.
Zinc production totaled 125 tonnes.
"Parral's production is climbing with the addition of the zinc circuit, this should continue over the next several quarters," said Brad Langille, GoGold's president and CEO.
GoGold is advancing a definitive feasibility study on the Los Ricos South project in Mexico, with results expected to be released in September.
GoGold's share price rose 3.7% on Wednesday to $1.42 on the TSX.
