06:32 AM EDT, 08/27/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Gogoro ( GGR ) , a Taiwanese electric scooter maker, and Nebula Energy said Tuesday that Gogoro's ( GGR ) battery swapping and Smartscooters will be commercially available in Nepal's Kathmandu Valley beginning in October.

The companies said they will introduce two new Gogoro Smartscooters to Nepal, the Pulse and JEGO, in addition to the existing CrossOver GX250.

The companies also unveiled the locations of 45 battery swapping stations in Kathmandu Valley, following a Smartscooter and battery swapping pilot program that started in April.

Nebula will open the first Gogoro ( GGR ) showroom in Kathmandu next month and customers can test ride the Smartscooters and make pre-bookings for delivery in October, the companies said.
