04:40 PM EST, 11/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Gold Reserve ( GDRZF ) after trade Monday said its board appointed Michael Johnston as the new chair, effective immediately.

He replaces Robert Cohen, who is stepping down after many years of service. The decision was approved at the board meeting on Nov. 13, the company added.

Johnston, a long-time director of the company, has significant entrepreneurial and strategic experience, the company said.
