09:35 AM EST, 03/03/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Gold X2 Mining ( GSHRF ) reported Tuesday initial drill results from two drill holes targeting high grade mineralization in the QES zone within the Moss gold project in Ontario.
Results include 117 meters of 1.12 grams per ton gold, including 10 m of 4.37 g/t gold.
The company said it intersected a high-grade zone 280 m beneath the resource pit, demonstrating the underground potential of the deposit.
"This drilling was designed to test the system for higher-grade mineralization that could potentially support underground mining in the future and to demonstrate the open pit can be extended to depth," Chief Executive Officer Michael Henrichsen said.
"The discovery of higher-grade mineralization 280 meters beneath the RPEEE pit represents a transformative development in our exploration process and growth trajectory of the project," Henrichsen added.
