09:58 AM EST, 12/02/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Golden Matrix Group ( GMGI ) said Monday its subsidiary Meridianbet has entered the final stage of the application process for a gaming license in Brazil.

The company said that Meridianbet has received official notice from Brazil's Ministry of Finance confirming its compliance with regulatory requirements, allowing it to proceed with the next steps in the licensing process.

Meridianbet plans to pay the licensing fee and submit the documentation required to become a licensed operator in Brazil by Jan. 1, Golden Matrix ( GMGI ) said.
