07:39 AM EDT, 09/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Goliath Resources ( GOTRF ) said Wednesday that it upsized its previously announced non-brokered flow through financing to about $15.7 million from $14.7 million.

The company said Larry Childress, a strategic investor, agreed to increase his Goliath common share purchase from 1 million to 1.4 million through Childress Family LP.

Goliath plans to use the proceeds to advance exploration on its properties in British Columbia's Golden Triangle.

The offering comprises charity flow-through shares at $1.975 apiece and flow-through shares at $1.44 each.

The first tranche closed on Sept. 13 for about $9.6 million in total proceeds. The final tranche is scheduled to close in October.

Goliath's share price climbed 3.1% yesterday to $1.33.
