08:24 AM EDT, 10/10/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Goliath Resources ( GOTRF ) on Thursday said it wrapped up the summer field season at its Golddigger property in northern British Columbia's Golden Triangle region as it carried out exploration drilling into gold deposits on the property.
The company said it drilled a total 38,125 meters over the field season using nine drilling rigs, identifying high-grade gold mineralization in the Surebet and Bonanza targets, as well as at the Jackpot and Treasure Island deposits.
"So far, we have made multiple discoveries of a series of different styles of mineralization at Golddigger that impresses us as they are all in close proximity which suggests a dynamic, long lived, powerful, multiple event mineralizing system at depth that remains open; hence, the more we drill the system gets bigger with ever season," Chief Executive Roger Rosmus said in a release.
Goliath is awaiting assays from 105 holes drilled on the property, including on 62 of 64 holes drilling into the Surebet target and all 12 cores from the Treasure Island deposit. It did not release any additional assays on Thursday.
Goliath shares closed down $0.01 to $1.25 Wednesday on the TSX Venture Exchange.
