Google Cloud, Citi Enter Infrastructure Modernization Deal

02:05 PM EDT, 10/28/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Alphabet's (GOOG) Google Cloud and Citigroup ( C ) said Monday they have entered into a multiyear agreement to modernize the bank's technology infrastructure.

Citi will be able to offer enhanced digital products, streamline workflows for employees and run high-performance computing and analytics platforms with the migration of various workloads and applications to Google Cloud infrastructure.

Google Cloud's Vertex AI platform will also be used by Citi to deliver generative AI capabilities, the companies said.
