Google Rolls Out AI-Powered Iteration of Pixel Phones

03:22 PM EDT, 08/13/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Alphabet's (GOOG, GOOGL) Google ( GOOG ) on Tuesday launched new versions of Pixel phones, powered by artificial intelligence.

The company announced four new phones, including a foldable model, that would be powered by Tensor G4 processors that was designed with Google's ( GOOG ) AI division DeepMind. It will be the first processor to run Gemini Nano with Multimodality, the company said in a blog post.

Meanwhile, Google ( GOOG ) said that it was further integrating its Gemini chatbot in Android phones as an overlay on top of any apps with the ability to perform different tasks related to those apps.
