07:47 AM EDT, 09/04/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Alphabet's (GOOG, GOOGL) Google ( GOOG ) saw interruptions to services, including YouTube ( GOOG ), in Turkey and other parts of Europe, media outlets reported Thursday.

The Freedom of Expression Association, which monitors local censorship on the internet, said the outage in Turkey began around 10 am local time on Thursday. According to tracking site Downdetector, services were mostly restored within two hours, the news outlets reported.

A Google Cloud spokesperson told MT Newswires the company experienced "network connectivity issues in various European and Asian regions" and said engineers were investigating.
