02:22 PM EDT, 05/13/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Alphabet's (GOOG, GOOGL) said Monday it is partnering with HP (HPQ) to bring Starline, its video conferencing service, to the market in 2025.
The Starline service will be delivered with the power of artificial intelligence, 3D imaging and other technologies, making it more advanced than traditional video calls as it allows users to talk, gesture and make eye contact with each other, said Andrew Nartker, general manager for Project Starline.
"In Starline, people act like they're in-person, not thousands of miles apart," he said in a blog post.
More details about Starline will be disclosed later this year, Nartker said.
Terms of the partnership weren't disclosed.
