Google is set to launch Google Pixel 3 on October 9 at an event in New York City. It is reportedly going to launch the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL with an official Google Pixel Watch that runs Wear OS, the new name for Android Wear.
The Google Pixel 2 started at a price of around Rs 61,000 and the Pixel 3 is expected to be slightly higher than its predecessor. Pixel 3 will be available in three color options -- Just Black, Clearly White, and Not Pink.
A leak revealed that the phone will have a 5.5-inch display along with a resolution of 2160x1080 and 2:1 aspect ratio. The battery capacity is said to be 2,915 mAh, up from 2,700 mAh of Pixel 2.
The phone is expected to have two front-facing cameras with each 8-megapixel sensors. One has an aperture of f/1.8, the other f/2. It will reportedly use an octa-core Qualcomm chipset (almost certainly the Snapdragon 845), an Ardreno 630 GPU, and have 4GB of RAM.
It is supposed to have a Snapdragon 845 chipset, which is clocked at up to 2.8GHz and paired with a choice of 64GB or 128GB of storage, but no microSD card slot.
