GR Silver Mining Appoints Robert Payment as Chief Financial Officer as Blaine Bailey Retires

08:18 AM EDT, 10/23/2024 (MT Newswires) -- GR Silver Mining ( GRSLF ) on Wednesday said chief financial officer Blaine Bailey retired and has been replaced by Robert Payment.

The company said Bailey initially retired in May 2023, but came back two months later "to help steer the company through challenging markets". He will remain as corporate secretary.

Payment is a chartered professional accountant who was last a staff accountant with a Vancouver accounting firm, GR said

"We are very pleased to welcome Robert and look forward to his contributions as we reinvigorate GR Silver Mining's ( GRSLF ) active exploration of the highly prospective Plomosas Project in Mexico. We cannot thank Blaine enough for his many contributions to the Company, getting us to this point, and his willingness to stay on as Corporate Secretary to ensure a smooth transition," Chief Executive Eric Zaunscherb said in a release.

GR Silver shares closed up $0.02 at $0.285 Tuesday on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
