07:23 AM EDT, 07/08/2025 (MT Newswires) -- GR Silver Mining ( GRSLF ) reported on Tuesday initial results of the phase one underground sampling program at the Plomosas mine in Mexico.
Sampling highlights include 2,423 grams per tonne (g/t) silver equivalent, 0.8 meters at 2,019 g/t silver equivalent, and 0.6 meters at 3,993 g/t silver equivalent.
GR Silver said its program will consist of two phases over the next four months, and the results will support a decision to potentially implement a bulk sampling test mining program before year-end.
"The success of our new geological model at the Plomosas mine, completed during the last six months, combined with detailed underground sampling, will be fundamental for the future development of engineering parameters to assess implementation of a bulk sampling test mining program in the underground mine," said Marcio Fonseca, GR Silver's president and CEO.
"The current site has initial infrastructure and key permits in place, which can assist in any future mine and processing plant developments at the historic Plomosas mine," Fonseca added.
