Grab Holdings Chooses Amazon Web Services as Preferred Cloud Provider

03:39 AM EST, 12/05/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Grab Holdings ( GRAB ) has chosen Amazon (AMZN) Web Services as its preferred cloud provider, the companies said late Wednesday.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

The Southeast Asian delivery and financial services app said it will use Amazon Web Services' cloud infrastructure to serve its 41.9 million monthly users across Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Grab said the cloud provider will help it keep operational costs down and adopt artificial intelligence technologies to provide delivery route guidance, sharpen pricing tools, personalize customer experiences, and detect possible fraud.
