GrafTech International Shares Jump After HEG Acquires 8.23% Stake for $29.6 Million

03:38 PM EDT, 10/07/2024 (MT Newswires) -- GrafTech International ( EAF ) shares jumped about 21% in recent Monday trading after HEG, a graphite electrode manufacturer, disclosed its acquisition of an 8.23% stake in GrafTech ( EAF ) for 2.49 billion Indian rupees ($29.6 million).

HEG purchased the stake through secondary market transactions, it said in a Monday filing with the Bombay Stock Exchange and National Stock Exchange of India.
