Graham Awarded $2.1 Million to Hire More Welders for US Navy Program

02:16 PM EDT, 07/25/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Graham (GHM) said Thursday it was awarded $2.1 million to support the US Navy's submarine industrial base program.

The contract was awarded by BlueForge Alliance, a nonprofit that supports the US Navy's initiatives, and will see Graham expand its welder workforce and related equipment to support the program.

Graham said it will use the funds to increase its production capacity at its Batavia, New York, operation and expects to be ready by early 2025 to support the US Navy.
