Graham Holdings Slipping Wednesday After Q1 Revenue Rises Less Than Expected

10:09 AM EDT, 05/01/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Graham Holdings ( GHC ) fell nearly 2% on Wednesday after reporting Q1 adjusted net income of $11.24 per diluted share compared with $8.36 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $8.96.

Revenue for the quarter ended March 31 was $1.15 billion, up from $1.03 billion a year earlier.

Analysts expected $1.17 billion for the education and media company.
