Four analysts polled by FactSet expected a loss of $3.37.

Revenue in the three months ended Sept. 30 rose to $36.2 million from $28.7 million a year earlier.

Three analysts polled by FactSet expected $34.6 million.

GRAIL shares rose 2% in after-hours trading.
