05:09 PM EDT, 06/25/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Granite Construction ( GVA ) said late Tuesday it has been awarded an about $25 million contract by the City of Everett, Washington, to replace the Edgewater Creek Bridge.

The project will be included in Granite's second-quarter CAP, the company said.

Construction is slated to start in November and will be completed in January 2026, Granite said.

The company's shares added 0.9% in recent after-hours activity.
