05:24 PM EDT, 05/12/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Granite Construction ( GVA ) said late Tuesday it won the Glenn Highway Milepost 66.5 to 92 Pavement Preservation project from the Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities worth about $15 million.

The project is expected to begin in May 2026 and be completed by July 2027.

Under the deal, Granite's Palmer facility will provide 27,000 tons of hot mix asphalt, while the Lucas Quarry will supply 2,300 tons of riprap products, according to a statement.
