05:43 PM EDT, 06/12/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Granite Construction ( GVA ) won a $3 million preconstruction contract from the Tahoe City Public Utility District for the Tahoe Cedars Water Reconstruction Project, an infrastructure upgrade in Tahoma, California.

The progressive design-build contract marks the company's first PDB project in the state.

The construction phase is expected to begin in May 2026 and continue through 2029 with an estimated contract value of $60 million, Granite said Thursday in a statement.
