09:57 AM EDT, 09/10/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Granite Construction ( GVA ) said Tuesday it has won a roughly $65 million contract to begin phase 2 of the SR-30 improvement project in Logan, Utah.

The company said funding for the project will come from the Utah Department of Transportation and federal funds.

Improvements include a 12-foot-wide path for pedestrians and cyclists and wider shoulders and turning lanes to improve traffic flow, the company said.

Phase 2 is expected to be completed in December 2025, according to Granite Construction ( GVA ).
