Granite Joint Venture Gets $97 Million Project in Guam

05:29 PM EDT, 03/10/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Granite Construction ( GVA ) said late Monday the Naval Facilities Engineering Command has awarded its joint venture team with Obayashi Corporation a $97 million contract to improve the battery energy storage system capabilities at Polaris Point, Guam.

The company said it expects to start project construction March 20 and complete it in June 2028.
