08:40 AM EST, 01/23/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Graphite One ( GPHOF ) on Thursday welcomed the executive orders issued by US President Donald Trump on energy, critical minerals and the importance of Alaska to U.S. Critical Mineral development and energy independence.

The company said it is analyzing the executive orders to determine how it can further accelerate development of the Graphite One ( GPHOF ) project in Alaska.

"These presidential actions confirm our 100% U.S.-based supply chain strategy," CEO Anthony Huston said. "So much depends on the U.S. having a robust, reliable source of advanced graphite materials, and Graphite One ( GPHOF ) intends to meet that need."

Graphite One ( GPHOF ) has received two grants from the U.S. Defense Department and a $325 million letter of interest from the EXIM Bank.

The company's share price gained 2.5% on Wednesday to $0.81 on the TSXV.
