10:36 AM EST, 12/03/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Graphjet Technology ( GTI ) said Tuesday it achieved technological breakthroughs in producing high-quality synthetic graphite using its patented green technology.

Graphjet ( GTI ) said its green graphite technology, which produces artificial graphite from palm kernel shells, achieved almost 100% purity and 98.8% graphitization, proving competitive with traditional graphite production methods.

Shares of Kuala Lumpur-based Graphjet Technology ( GTI ) rose 12% in recent Tuesday trading.
