Green Impact Partners Swings to a Second-Quarter Loss

11:19 AM EDT, 08/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Green Impact Partners ( GIPIF ) on Monday reported a second-quarter swing to a loss even as revenue rose 5.1%.

The company, which focuses on turning waste to renewable energy, reported a loss of $5.5 million, or $0.26 per share, compared with a profit of $3.85 million, or $0.18 per diluted share, last year.

Revenue rose to $41.14 million from $39.13 million in the prior-year period.

Green Impact ( GIPIF ) said the lower volume of Energy Product Optimization Services was more than offset by higher commodity prices compared to the same period in 2023.

Green Impact ( GIPIF ) share were last seen down $0.07 to $3.25 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
