Greenpower Motor Make First Electric School Bus Sale in Arizona

03:07 PM EST, 03/05/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Greenpower Motor Company ( GP ) on Tuesday said it made the first sale of its Beast electric school bus in Arizona.

The company said the Phoenix Elementary School District has taken delivery of the 40-foot, zero-emission bus.

"We are pleased that the Phoenix Elementary School District has selected a GreenPower purpose-built school bus to help the school district transition its fleet to safe, sustainable and sensible all-electric student transportation. The demand for all-electric school buses remains high and we are proud to deploy the first BEAST in Arizona here in Phoenix," president Brendan Riley said in a release.

Greenpower shares were last seen down C$0.10 to C$2.95 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
