04:54 PM EDT, 06/10/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Greif ( GEF ) said late Wednesday it is implementing a price increase of $60 per short ton for all grades of uncoated recycled paperboard (URP) products, and a minimum 6.5% increase on all tube, core and protective packaging products.

The URB increase is effective with new orders and shipments on and after July 6, while the tube, core and protective packaging product increase is effective with shipments on and after July 13, the company said.

The URB price increase is due to higher input and transportation costs, along with strengthening demand for all URB products. The price increase for tube, core and productive packaging products is a result of rising URB and adhesive prices, higher transportation costs, and growing demand, the company added.
