Greif Signs Virtual Power Purchase Agreement with Enel Green Power to Boost Renewable Energy Use

10:08 AM EDT, 09/25/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Greif ( GEF ) said Wednesday it has signed a virtual power purchase agreement with Enel Green Power Espana, a subsidiary of Endesa, to boost the use of renewable energy.

Financial details weren't provided.

The agreement would help the company achieve its target of reducing greenhouse gas emissions from sources it owns or controls and those indirect emissions associated with the purchase of energy by 28% by 2030, compared with 2019 levels, Greif ( GEF ) said.
