Grindr Confirms Buyout Interest From 'Large' Shareholders; Shares Up Pre-Bell

04:53 AM EDT, 10/15/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Grindr ( GRND ) said late Tuesday its board received a letter from "large" shareholders, director Ray Zage and Chair James Lu, expressing interest in exploring the possibility of fully acquiring the company in a go-private deal.

The board has set up a special committee in case "a definitive, bona fide proposal, including committed financing," is presented to Grindr ( GRND ) for evaluation, the company said.

Grindr ( GRND ) shares were up 6% in recent premarket activity Wednesday.
