02:00 PM EDT, 05/16/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Grindr ( GRND ) said Thursday it has opened a new office in Chicago that will serve as its primary global engineering hub.

The company said it plans to increase the office and engineering team in Chicago to nearly 100 employees over the next few years and is hiring in roles focused on data engineering and cloud engineering, among others.

Shares of the company fell 5.5% in recent trading.
