11:02 AM EDT, 09/09/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Grindr ( GRND ) shares fell 2.4% in recent trading Tuesday after Ningi Research issued a short-seller report, claiming that management's alleged "aggressive" monetization strategy risks undermining the platform's long-term viability.
Ningi said that conversations with former executives and employees suggest that Grindr's ( GRND ) paying user numbers are exaggerated and users were "increasingly alienated," while executives have allegedly sold over $230 million in stock over the past year.
"We believe investors are exposed to significant further downside," the report said.
Grindr ( GRND ) didn't immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment.
