05:25 PM EDT, 03/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Group 1 Automotive ( GPI ) said late Monday it acquired Modern Classic Motors in Hilton Head, South Carolina.

The acquisition includes three franchises, comprising Mercedes-Benz, Sprinter and Honda in Beaufort County, the automotive retailer said.

The dealerships are projected to generate annual revenue of about $140 million, the firm said.
