04:06 AM EDT, 10/01/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Group 1 Automotive ( GPI ) said Tuesday it has appointed Mark Raban as chief executive officer of its UK business.

The company said Raban brings over 20 years of experience in automotive retail operations and finance to Group 1 Automotive UK.

Before joining Group 1, Raban progressed from chief financial officer to CEO at Lookers Motor Group, a dealership group in the UK and Ireland, Group 1 said.
