06:27 AM EDT, 06/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Group Eleven Resources ( GRLVF ) on Tuesday highlighted results from the most recent four holes of the 2024 drill program at the company's Ballywire zinc-lead-silver discovery, PG West Project in the Republic of Ireland.
The best intersection to date at Ballywire was 29.6 meters of 10.6% zinc+lead, 78 g/t silver, and 0.15% copper, in G11-3552-12, a 180-meter step-out from the discovery area.
This includes 12.9 meters of 16.6% zinc+lead, 123 g/t silver, and 0.19% copper, including 5.2 meters of 24.1% zinc+lead, 76 g/t silver and 0.10% copper and 6.8 meters of 12.6% zinc+lead, 172 g/t silver, and 0.29% copper.
Mineralization consists predominantly of massive and semi-massive sulfide, as well as disseminated and vein-hosted sulfide mineralization, the company said.
G11-3552-12 was drilled about 50 meters up-dip of hole G11-3552-09, which returned a 21.8 meters zone of mineralization, including 2.8 meters of 4.1% zinc+lead and 5 g/t silver, suggesting mineralization was strengthening up-dip and to the north.
The company's shares fell 6.3% in Canada yesterday.
