GSI Technology Signs $50 Million Securities Purchase Deal With Institutional Investor; Shares Rise

09:43 AM EDT, 10/21/2025 (MT Newswires) -- GSI Technology ( GSIT ) said Tuesday that it signed a securities purchase agreement with an unnamed institutional investor for a $50 million registered direct offering of common shares and pre-funded warrants.

The company agreed to sell to the investor about 1.5 million common shares at $10 per share and pre-funded warrants to purchase about 3.5 million common shares at $9.99 per warrant under the offering, according to the statement.

GSI Technology ( GSIT ) expects to close the offering on or about Wednesday and said proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

Shares of GSI Technology ( GSIT ) were up more than 29% in recent Tuesday trading.
