Firm executes Leaders Strategy™ partnership with former LPL Financial CEO Mark Casady, who joins company as Executive Chairman

CHICAGO, Sept. 10, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- GTCR, a leading private equity firm, announced today that it has closed the previously announced acquisition of FMG Suite ("FMG" or "the Company"), a leading provider of advisor-led marketing automation software to financial advisors and insurance agents, from Aurora Capital Partners.

As part of the Leaders Strategy™ investment approach, Mark Casady, former Chairman and CEO of LPL Financial ( LPLA ) , will join FMG as Executive Chairman. Mr. Casady will work closely with FMG President and CEO Scott White and other members of the management team to help drive strategy and growth initiatives. These include developing AI-enabled products that cater to the evolving needs of the advisor, deepening FMG's relationships with enterprise-scale wealth management firms and insurance agencies and evaluating organic and inorganic growth opportunities.

Founded in 2011, FMG provides marketing automation solutions to wealth advisory and insurance professionals, helping advisors and agents drive organic growth through omnichannel marketing solutions while ensuring compliance with industry regulation. The Company's purpose-built platform, robust content library and integrated compliance workflows create a mission critical "one stop shop" for advisors, facilitating client engagement and prospecting. FMG serves over 50,000 financial advisors and over 3,500 insurance professionals, spanning large blue-chip wealth advisory firms and smaller boutique providers.

Mr. Casady brings more than four decades of experience in financial services, wealth management and financial technology, and a proven track record of scaling advisor-driven platforms. He currently serves as Founder and Chairman of Vestigo Ventures, an early-stage venture firm focused on financial technology and AI. Prior to founding Vestigo Ventures, Mr. Casady joined LPL Financial ( LPLA ) in 2002 and served as Chairman and CEO from 2005 to 2017. During his tenure, Mr. Casady grew LPL revenues from $1.4 billion to over $4.0 billion through a combination of organic growth and acquisitions, transforming LPL into the largest U.S. independent broker dealer serving over 14,000 advisors. He also successfully transitioned LPL from a sponsor backed private company to a publicly listed entity in 2010. Through this experience, Mr. Casady has direct knowledge of FMG's value proposition for the financial advisor community. Earlier in his career, he was a Managing Director at Deutsche Asset Management (formerly Scudder Kemper Investments), where he built up the firm's mutual fund business distribution network.

"I'm thrilled to join FMG as Executive Chairman during such a pivotal time for innovation in wealth management," said Mr. Casady. "Throughout my career, I've been focused on helping financial advisors deliver smarter, more efficient ways to serve their clients and build lasting financial freedom. This includes witnessing the transformative impact of AI in financial services, which I believe will be key to future growth. I've known FMG for years, and its platform presents an exceptional opportunity to advance that mission and empower the next generation of agents and advisors to thrive."

"We're excited to be partnering with GTCR and Mark, whose experience building advisor-focused technology and services makes him an ideal fit for FMG," said Scott White, President and CEO, FMG. "Together, we share the belief that advisors need intuitive, easy-to-use tools to stand out, win new clients, and deepen existing relationships. With GTCR's support and Mark's leadership, we'll continue to evolve our platform, expand into new markets, and deliver AI-enabled solutions that drive organic growth."

"We've known Mark for over a decade and are confident that FMG will benefit from his deep understanding of the financial advisor community, unparalleled network in the wealth and insurance industries and strategic guidance," said Michael Hollander, Managing Director at GTCR. "We look forward to partnering with Mark, Scott and the FMG management team to strategically invest in the Company's software platform and continue to meet the evolving needs of its customers."
