05:05 PM EDT, 09/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Guaranty Bancshares ( GNTY ) shareholders have approved the Glacier Bancorp merger at a special meeting today, with the transaction expected to close Oct. 1, the company reported late Wednesday.

The board declared a special dividend at $2.30 per share, payable Sept. 23 to holders of record Sept. 19.

This payout is linked to Guaranty Bancshares' ( GNTY ) pending merger with Glacier Bancorp, which will remain as the surviving entity, it added.

Shares of the company were up 1% in recent after-market hours activity.
