Guidewire Software Fiscal Q2 Swings to Profit; Revenue Rises; Lowers 2024 Revenue Outlook-- Shares Fall

04:41 PM EST, 03/07/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Guidewire Software ( GWRE ) posted fiscal Q2 non-GAAP EPS late Thursday of $0.46, compared to a loss of $0.21 a year ago.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.23.

Revenue for the quarter ended Jan. 31 was $240.9 million, up from $232.6 million a year earlier. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $241.8 million.

The company expects fiscal Q3 revenue of $228 million to $234 million. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $234.9 million.

The company expects fiscal year 2024 revenue of $957 million to $967 million, compared with previous estimates of $976 million to $986 million. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $982.7 million.

Guidewire shares were down more than 5% in recent after-hours activity.
