07:27 AM EST, 01/23/2025 (MT Newswires) -- GURU Organic Energy ( GUROF ) on Thursday reported a narrower fourth-quarter loss as sales and marketing expenses declined.
The company, which makes plant-based organic energy drinks, said its quarterly net loss narrowed to $2.7 million or $0.09 per share, from $3.7 million or $0.12 per share last year.
Fourth-quarter net revenue fell 6.9% to $7.2 million, primarily due to lower retail shipments, and changes to the promotional pattern in Canada. The decline was offset by a strong performance in the U.S., with sales up 30% on the back of digital campaigns and the new GURU Zero line.
