09:52 AM EDT, 10/29/2025 (MT Newswires) -- GXO Logistics ( GXO ) said Wednesday that it is establishing a chief operating officer role as part of organizational changes that are intended to improve the company's execution and simplify its structure.

Reporting to the CEO, the chief operating officer will be responsible "for driving operational excellence through standardized global execution," the company said.

No details of the timing of a COO appointment were disclosed.
