10:09 AM EDT, 08/27/2025 (MT Newswires) -- H2O America ( HTO ) said Wednesday its unit Texas Water has agreed to buy part of the assets of South Central Water, specifically the Cibolo Valley wastewater treatment facility and related collection systems.

The deal will increase Texas Water's service footprint in the Texas Hill Country by adding more than 1,500 wastewater connections to its base of about 1,200 connections, the company said, adding the Cibolo Valley system has over 250 wastewater connections under contract and pending construction.

Texas Water expects the application for the deal to be filed with the Public Utilities Commission of Texas in Q3 2025 and closing is slated for Q4 2026.
