Haemonetics Gets FDA Clearance for New TEG 6s Global Hemostasis-HN Cartridge

10:57 AM EDT, 04/04/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Haemonetics ( HAE ) said Thursday the US Food and Drug Administration has given 510(k) clearance to the new TEG 6s Global Hemostasis-HN assay cartridge.

The cartridge extends its TEG 6s viscoelastic testing capabilities to serve fully heparinized patients in adult cardiovascular surgeries and procedures, and liver transplantation in both laboratory and point-of-care settings, the firm said.

The medical technology company said it plans to release the product in the coming months.

Haemonetics ( HAE ) shares were up almost 2% in recent trading.
