12:53 PM EDT, 07/30/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Haemonetics ( HAE ) said Tuesday that it has obtained CE Mark certification for the SavvyWire Pre-Shaped Pressure Guidewire.

The certification allows Haemonetics ( HAE ) to proceed with the commercial introduction of the SavvyWire guidewire in the European Union and other regions recognizing the CE Mark, Haemonetics ( HAE ) said.

The SavvyWire is a sensor-guided 3-in-1 solution for Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI), offering "wire performance, hemodynamic measurement and left-ventricular pacing capabilities," according to the company statement.

Haemonetics ( HAE ) shares was down 0.4% in recent trading.
