05:09 PM EDT, 06/12/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Haivision Systems ( HAIVF ) on Wednesday said its swung back to a fiscal second-quarter profit despite weaker revenue.
The video-technologies company said it earned $0.9 million in the quarter ended April 30, compared with a loss of $1.5 million in the year-prior quarter. Per share results were not disclosed.
Revenue was $34.2 million, which the company said was "a modest decrease" from a year earlier.
"I am excited that our overall transformation of the business is exceeding our expectations. Our drive towards a partner friendly channel strategy in the control room market is moving ahead faster than anticipated and will enable us to scale that business globally," chief executive Mirko Wicha said in a release.
Haivision ( HAIVF ) shares closed up $0.11 to $5.01 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
