09:13 AM EDT, 09/03/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Haivision Systems ( HAIVF ) , which provides mission-critical, real-time video streaming and networking solutions, on Tuesday said its subsidiary Haivision MCS won a US$61.2 million five-year production contract from the U.S. Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA).

Haivision MCS will provide a suite of ultra-high performance video processing solutions for mission-critical display along with video transcoding, storage, and distribution components. The advanced visualization technology is designed to support the U.S. Navy's future combat systems.

This award builds upon Haivision's ( HAIVF ) success with the U.S. Navy's CANES (Consolidated Afloat Networks and Enterprise Services) program, which uses the company's real-time video encoding, transcoding, recording, and playback technology for ship-wide video distribution.
