Haleon Agrees to Buy Back Over 44 Million Shares From Pfizer

11:02 AM EDT, 03/19/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Haleon ( HLN ) said Wednesday it has agreed to make an off-market purchase of about 44.2 million of its ordinary shares from Pfizer ( PFE ) at 3.85 British pounds ($4.99) per share for a total of about 170 million pounds.

Haleon ( HLN ) said the off-market purchase is in conjunction with and subject to the completion of an offering by Pfizer ( PFE ) to institutional investors.

Pfizer's ( PFE ) stake in Haleon ( HLN ) is expected to fall to zero from about 7.3% on completion of the off-market purchase and Pfizer's ( PFE ) offering, Haleon ( HLN ) said.

Reuters reported earlier Wednesday that Pfizer ( PFE ) sold its entire stake in Haleon ( HLN ) for about 2.5 billion pounds to institutional investors and Haleon ( HLN ) itself. Institutional investors bought 618 million Haleon ( HLN ) shares from Pfizer ( PFE ) at 3.85 pounds each, the report said.
